Lead Scheduler, Commercial Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Scheduler, Commercial to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 to ensure timely delivery of commercial projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather input and ensure alignment on project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Analyze schedule performance and provide regular updates and reports to senior management and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures related to scheduling and project management.
- Conduct risk assessments and integrate risk mitigation plans into project schedules.
- Lead scheduling meetings and workshops to communicate timelines, address concerns, and foster collaboration among team members.
- Continuously improve scheduling processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project scheduling, with a focus on commercial projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource allocation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in project scheduling or project management (e.g., PMI-SP, PMP) is a plus.
- Create and update project schedules, ensuring all tasks, dependencies, and milestones are accurately reflected.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather updates and adjust schedules as needed.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed schedule reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and potential issues.
- Facilitate regular scheduling meetings to ensure alignment and address any scheduling conflicts.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior schedulers and team members on best practices and tools.
