Technical Inside Sales Manager

• Lead and develop the Technical Inside Sales organization
• Establish performance expectations, coach and develop employees, manage team resources, and build a high-performing culture
• Drive operational and commercial performance through KPIs, quote turnaround time, quotation quality, order execution, productivity, customer satisfaction, and service levels
• Ensure accurate, timely, and competitive technical solutions throughout the quotation and order lifecycle
• Maintain compliance with customer specifications, company policies, and applicable industry standards
• Partner with Engineering, Pricing, Manufacturing, Product Management, Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Outside Sales
• Resolve complex technical, commercial, and operational challenges and serve as a key escalation point
• Standardize workflows, leverage business systems, improve data integrity, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide business insights through performance dashboards, reporting, forecasting, and analysis
• Support organizational change, business growth, and initiatives enhancing customer experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technical Sales, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Five (5) or more years of experience in Technical Inside Sales, Quotations, Customer Service, Engineering Support, Commercial Operations, or a related technical commercial role
• Previous experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or developing employees or cross-functional teams
• Strong technical aptitude with complex engineered products and customer applications
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing business needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• 10% travel required
• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship will not be provided
• Preferred: leadership experience managing Technical Inside Sales, Quotations, Customer Service, or Commercial Operations organizations
• Preferred: experience with Engineered-to-Order (ETO)/customized solutions, configured products, or highly engineered technical solutions
• Preferred: working knowledge of hazardous location products and NEC, IECEx, and ATEX standards
• Preferred: experience with Oracle, Vendavo, CRM, ERP, or other business systems
• Preferred: experience developing operational dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics
• Preferred: experience leading continuous improvement, process standardization, workflow optimization, or organizational change initiatives
• Preferred: experience within industrial electrical, automation, power distribution, or related manufacturing industries

Demonstrates strong leadership in Technical Inside Sales, focusing on team development, operational performance, and customer satisfaction. Proficient in managing complex technical solutions and driving continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.
