Sr. Platform Installation Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute all installation tasks for racking and platform systems, ensuring safety and timely completion.
• Manage a team of steelworks employees and subcontractors, coordinating with the GC Construction Manager, Project Managers, PLC Project Leader, and Mechanical Installation Lead.
• Create detailed AutoCAD drawings, method statements, and instructions to support subcontractors during installation.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions to guide installation activities.
• Prepare, design, and verify technical drawings and designs as required.
• Direct installation of racking and platforms, making adjustments as necessary.
• Control general timelines and deadlines set in the contract, and coordinate all construction and installation related topics.
• Lead construction meetings with all subcontractors, produce meeting minutes, and maintain construction logs.
• Prepare and adjust construction and installation related documents.
• Brief subcontractors’ construction managers and hand over codes of conduct for the construction site.
• Conduct secondary safety checks to ensure all safety measures are maintained.
• Supervise five Steel Works Installation Managers.

• Minimum 1 year of related construction project‑management experience.
• At least 12 months of demonstrated experience in each of the following:
  • Installing and constructing industrial automation equipment.
  • Creating detailed AutoCAD drawings and method statements for subcontractors.
  • Project management within construction and industrial automation.
  • Reading and interpreting project plans, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Leading construction meetings with subcontractors and producing meeting minutes.
• Ability to pass a drug test before starting employment.

Salary: $82,243.00 to $95,000.00 per year. Full‑time position with potential for telecommuting from any U.S. location. 100% domestic travel required to visit client sites; additional international travel required for headquarters‑team meetings.
