Environment, Health and Safety Manager

We are conducting a confidential search for a Safety Manager to support a large-scale electrical/data center construction project. This individual will serve as the onsite safety leader, driving a proactive safety culture while ensuring full compliance with OSHA regulations, client requirements, and company safety standards throughout the life of the project.

The Safety Manager will partner closely with project leadership, field supervision, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to promote safe work practices, conduct audits and inspections, investigate incidents, and implement corrective actions that keep the project operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all onsite safety activities for a major electrical/data center construction project.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA 1926, company policies, and client safety requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and job hazard analyses (JHAs).
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, training records, and compliance logs.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to field personnel.
• Collaborate with project management and field leadership to proactively identify and mitigate jobsite risks.
• Foster a strong safety-first culture across employees, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 1926 regulations and construction safety best practices.
• Experience conducting site inspections, safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective action planning.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across project leadership and field teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting electrical construction projects.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong field presence with the ability to influence safe work practices across multiple trades.
