We are partnering with a leading national general contractor that is continuing to expand its presence within the mission-critical and data center construction market. Due to continued growth and an increasing project pipeline, they are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team.
The RoleThe Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of large-scale data center developments, working closely with project leadership, subcontractors, design teams and clients from preconstruction through completion.
You will need to be flexible to travel for this position.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage day-to-day delivery of large-scale data center construction projects.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement and subcontractor performance.
- Coordinate closely with field teams, design partners and trade contractors.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, cost and quality against agreed targets.
- Support client communication and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Identify and resolve potential project risks before they impact delivery.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and to a high standard.
- Experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor within the mission-critical/data center sector.
- Strong understanding of complex, fast-paced data center construction environments.
- Experience managing subcontractors, budgets, schedules and project controls.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with owners, design teams, trade partners and internal project teams.
