Description
Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Teaching Assistant to work one on one with a student at Ivy Hill Elementary School.
Teaching Assistants provide support to our students with special education needs. Special Education Teachers will provide guidance to ensure that Teaching Assistants are implementing the Individualized Education Plans for students throughout their school day in general education classes, small group instruction, hallway transitions, lunch, recess and activities of daily living (e.g., toileting, eating, dressing, grooming).
The hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:45 am - 3:45 pm. Salary: $21.00/hour.
Qualifications- Must have a valid Illinois ELS (PARA) Paraprofessional License, SUB license or PEL
- Have a genuine interest in students
- Able to effectively communicate with children and adults
