QUALIFICATIONS:

- Instructional Assistant IIIs support our severe/emotionally disturbed students. We are looking for candidates with any combination of experience and training which provides the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties.
- Severe/Emotionally Disturbed - experience with students who have Learning Handicap or Communicatively Handicap programs. Includes ED class, autism class, or work with a Behaviorist to assist individual students. Experience with groups of children; experience with impaired children or adults is highly desirable; coursework in child development is highly desirable. See the job description for full details.
- In some programs, possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation [A, B, C, or D item] from the following list:

- [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
- [C] OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units)
- [D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher)
If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, you must have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts from an accredited United States college or university.
