Little Learners Educational Center, Inc. is looking to hire an experienced Infant Room teacher! We are a family-owned childcare center in Arlington Heights caring for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. We’re looking for a teacher who is patient, nurturing, and who will build trusting relationships with our families and their coworkers.

Our teachers are responsible for the safety and overall well‑being of each child in their care. As a teacher, you will plan developmentally appropriate curriculum, keeping the whole child in mind and being cognizant of their abilities. We are a play‑based center, instilling the love of learning in each child.

Little Learners Educational Center has developed a program to meet the needs of the whole child. Activities are planned to encourage the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth of each child. An emphasis is placed on the learning process during these activities rather than on the finished product. High self‑esteem is nurtured in each child and is a main goal of the program.

Every child is accepted for who they are and their current level of development.

• Associate Degree with 6 hours of Early Childhood Education Credits (15+ ECE credits preferred) or 30 hours college credit with 6 hours Early Childhood Education Credits or CDA
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel
• Classroom management skills
• Ability to work in a co‑teaching position
• Willingness to be flexible

• Ability to lift 40 pounds
• Ability to sit on the floor for more than 30 minutes at a time
• Ability to stand for more than two hours at a time
• Ability to walk up to several miles
