Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a full-time (1.0 Fte) Special Education Teaching Assistant at Thomas Middle School for the 2026-27 school year.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:35 Am - 2:50 Pm. Salary: $21.00 / Hour Teaching Assistants provide support to our students with special education needs. Special Education Teachers will provide guidance to ensure that teaching assistants are implementing the individualized education plans for students throughout their school day in general education classes, small group instruction, hallway transitions, lunch, recess and activities of daily living For a complete list of job duties and qualifications, please see the attached description.
Must have a valid Illinois Els (Para) Paraprofessional License, Sub License, or Pel Have a genuine interest in students Ability to effectively communicate with children and adults
