Job Title
Instructor at the OSHA Training Institute (OTI) specializing in Safety
Duties for the OTI Safety Instructor include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting training using curriculum developed using the Instructional Systems Design (ISD).
- Teaching and demonstrating correct use of testing and monitoring instruments used by safety and health inspectors.
- Conducting training in a wide range of complex occupational safety subject matter at basic and advanced levels.
- Communicating expertise and ideas to participants in the classroom and laboratory.
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in performance and oversight of developmental work.
