Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a full‑time (1.0

FTE) Physical Education Teacher at Olive‑Mary Stitt Elementary School for the 2026‑27 school year.

Must possess a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Physical Education endorsement.

Preferred candidates will speak a second language.

This position is part of the Arlington Teachers' Association (ATA) professional agreement. Salary depends on full‑time years of experience and education level, ranging from a base of $51,984.00 for a BA with no full‑time years of experience to $65,928.00 for an MA with 32 graduate hours beyond the MA degree and 7 years of full‑time teaching experience.

Effective July 1, 2023, districts are required to conduct an Employee History Review (EHR) of prior employers to determine if applicants have been the subject of a sexual misconduct allegation, been discharged, asked to resign, or disciplined due to an adjudication or finding of sexual misconduct. Applicants who are offered a position will be required to affirm they are not disqualified from employment for these reasons and to authorize this review.
