Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement required
• Proven experience teaching or supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and school staff
• Adaptability and resourcefulness in responding to classroom and caseload needs
• Commitment to creating equitable opportunities and supporting student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students based on their IEPs
• Manage a caseload across either high school or K-8 grade levels, according to your experience and preference
• Develop and implement differentiated lesson plans to meet the needs of each learner
• Maintain effective communication with parents and other stakeholders
• Complete all documentation, progress reports, and compliance tasks related to special education
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate actively within the school community
