This role provides technical and engineering support for the introduction of new products into our manufacturing processes. Candidates will be required to support, develop and improve current manufacturing processes and systems, as well as support/select the introduction of new processes/equipment used on current and future products. Focus is on ensuring all manufacturing processes implemented and improved comply with all legal, H&S, and Company requirements.
Candidates should have a formal qualification (HNC, HND, or degree) in an engineering discipline and should also have at least three years of industrial experience within a manufacturing engineering role within one or two companies of medium volume production (>100 units per day). You will be capable of interpreting, communicating, and using technical data, as well as having familiarity with manufacturing, the ability to read CAD/Autocad drawings, and to produce them.
Candidates should be excellent communicators with the ability to work to tight project timescales.
