What you will do
- Act as on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete control systems projects with assigned customers.
- Perform or delegate tasks such as hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, system and network commissioning, and project closeout.
- Be responsible for the overall financial results of assigned projects, including costs, project billings, and collections.
- Maintain a balance between customer satisfaction and project financial results.
- Pursue and secure change orders to maximize opportunities.
- Coordinate communication with the customer throughout all phases of the project.
- Ensure proper execution of warranty requirements.
- Provide work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administration teams.
- Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal legal requirements and maintain the highest ethical standards on the job.
- Adhere to and enforce Johnson Controls safety policies and procedures.
- Technical associate degree with two years of field experience or four years of equivalent related field experience in building automation, preferably HVAC panel controls programming.
- Experience managing projects.
- Ability to communicate technical material to a non‑technical audience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience in the HVAC industry with programming controls.
- Two or more years of project management experience.
- Knowledge of project accounting and costing principles.
- Hands‑on technical experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC control systems.
- Hiring salary range: $67,000 – $92,000 (salary determined by experience and qualifications).
