Salary Range

$90,000 – $135,000 per year (USD). Salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Equipment North America (EqNA) organization on startup, warranty, and coordination with all other service needs.
  • Report first 6 months to the regional service manager and thereafter to the branch service manager and HVAC Equipment Operations Manager.
  • Coordinate with the Customer Resource Coordinator for all equipment field‑service labor requirements per customer expectations and contract requirements.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all service scope within the equipment contract and as the direct interface with the EqNA customer.
  • Support EqNA sales during project estimation by determining whether service can be performed as S/R or if a Service Mechanical project must be secured.
  • Provide custom quotes for service items outside the PCAT policy.
  • Verify that the branch possesses trained service technicians for the identified equipment and coordinate training as needed.
  • Attend RTO meetings on complex projects or projects with Planned Service Agreements and identify service/warranty scope concerns.
  • Validate PSA details with the SAE/Agent Project Owner and supply required documentation.
  • Conduct weekly service turnover meetings with SAEs and BOM to coordinate current and future service scopes for EqNA.
  • Introduce Connected Service capabilities to customers.
  • Coordinate scheduled work and schedule changes with the EqNA customer.
  • Verify asset records in NxGen and assign them to the correct site for future service requests.
  • Coordinate delivery related to FOB Destination and communicate with SAE and customer as required.
  • Verify warranty navigation and resolve discrepancies with SAE and the Warranty Admin team.
  • Monitor Long‑Term Storage requirements and coordinate with SAE and customer.
  • Promote Pronto Forms utilization for pre‑start‑up checklists and startup inspections.
  • Ensure startup is completed or issues resolved and provide the customer with startup documentation.
  • Enter startup dates into NxGen and register equipment in Warranty Navigator.
  • Provide warranty certification to the EqNA customer.
  • Ensure SRs are invoiced promptly upon scope completion.
  • Act as the first point of contact for warranty requests, coordinating with CRC and WSC to dispatch technicians promptly and file claims.
  • Escalate and resolve warranty work issues, including parts and resources availability.
  • Facilitate technical support for EqNA customers.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of industry experience or technical engineering or construction degree graduate.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Writer, and basic Windows OS.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • Good conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to positively represent Johnson Controls and communicate with others at varying technical levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage a large and diverse number of projects with professionalism, cooperation, and persistence.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA degree in Engineering or Construction.
  • HVAC equipment knowledge.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
