The Mechanical Product Engineer provides technical support drawings BOMs and engineering solutions to meet customer installation and shipment requirements
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain technical drawings BOMs part numbers descriptions and ERP inventory values
- Maintain open job logs prioritize work and support delivery schedules
- Initiate engineering releases and purchase requisitions for internal sales orders
- Analyze customer requests and recommend technical solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on fixture tooling selection design troubleshooting corrective actions and project schedules
- Support special events and business needs as assigned

Minimum Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Design Engineering related discipline or equivalent experience
- 5 years of work holding and manufacturing experience
- 5 years using advanced AutoCAD and Solid Works 3D modeling
- Strong applied math skills including geometry trigonometry probability statistics and pressureflowvolume calculations
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with JTEKT Machinery
- Toyoda products
- Manufacturing or machine tool design engineering experience
- Mechanical or design engineering trade certificate or licensing preferred
