Position Objective

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the center’s fiscal operations, ensuring accurate accounting, payroll processing, benefits administration, and financial reporting. This role works closely with the Director of Operations to maintain the organization’s financial health, support budgeting, and provide necessary reports to grantors and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities and Duties Fiscal Management
  • Process payroll and enter information into Quickbooks online
  • Maintain all aspects of financial accounting, including deposits, expenditures, bank accounts, and allocation of expenses to grants and programs
  • Research and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely invoice payment and receipt
  • Participate in annual financial reviews and audits
  • Support the development, monitoring, and reporting of agency and program budgets
  • Prepare financial reports for grantors and internal stakeholders as needed
Administrative Support
  • Act as liaison with benefit vendors to maintain employee benefits, including insurance coverage and other fringe benefits
  • Track contractual agreements and lease agreements related to finance and administration
  • Assist with event registration and financial troubleshooting before, during, and after events
Other Duties
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Weekend/Holiday hotline rotation with center staff
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Knowledge of benefits, insurance, and employment regulations
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks Online, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and detail-oriented skills
  • Experience in nonprofit accounting and public funding preferred
  • Ability to relate sensitively to people of varied socio-economic, racial, cultural, and experiential backgrounds
  • Ability to deal sensitively with victims of sexual violence and their significant others
  • Ability to integrate into a team setting, as well as work independently, prioritizing needs of the department
  • Completion of an ICASA approved 40 Hour Sexual Assault Crisis Intervention Training preferred
