Overview
We are seeking a Certified Spanish Speaking Medical Assistant Traveling Manager – (SS MA TM) to join our team at Integrated Pain Management (IPM) various locations. This role is critical in ensuring efficient patient reception, administrative support, and clinical assistance. The SS/MA TM will act as a liaison between patients and providers, contributing to a seamless healthcare experience.

- Previous experience in managing a physician’s office outpatient clinic preferred with at least 2 to 5 years.
- A certification as a Medical Assistant is required with at least 2 years of experience.
- Must speak Spanish.
- Having a college degree is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of medical billing and coding skills.
- Infrequent lifting, not more than 20 pounds with help and or carrying objects weighing up to 20 pounds. May be prolonged period of sitting, moderate amount of walking, stooping and standing.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of healthcare procedures.
- Knowledge of medical ethics and confidentiality laws
- Ability to lead a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
This is a Full-time position with the following hours:
Various hours Monday - Friday
- Patient Reception and Recovery Room:
Efficiently manage patient check-in and check-out processes;
Accurately verify patient information and insurance details within the HIPPA laws;
Schedule and manage patient appointments;
Address billing inquiries and process payments;
Follow directions of OR Nurse Manager;
Oversee the scheduling of staff shifts and patient appointments to ensure efficient clinical operations and patient flow;
Authorizes time off request with the upper management;
Coordinate training and professional development opportunities for medical assistants to enhance their skills and knowledge - Clinical Support:
Prepare the examination room and main cleanliness;
Accurately take and record vital signs;
Assist providers with medical procedures;
Perform basic diagnostic tests as needed;
Knowledge of and in compliance with HIPPA regulations for safety, infections control equipment operation, confidentiality, and other applicable areas. - Patient Care and
Education:
Provide high-quality patient education regarding procedures and care;
Communicate effectively and empathically with patients. - Documentation and Records Management:
Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR);
Prepare and organize patient records and charts;
Complete forms related to worker’s compensation and personal injury cases;
Work with the HR manager to ensure all medical records for employees are up to date, and in the filing system in location, as well as upload them to the server. - Care Coordination:
Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers;
Follow up on referrals and external medical records;
Contribute to case management and care planning. - Specialized Tasks:
Assist with occupational health assessments and documentation. - Communication and Coordination:
Facilitate effective communication between staff and providers;
Act as a liaison to ensure smooth clinic operations. - Training and Development:
Participate in ongoing training sessions;
Assist in training new FD/MA staff;
Assist in training with the HR manager for all State training. - Quality Assurance and Improvement:
Engage in quality improvement initiatives;
Provide feedback to improve office procedures.

- Ensuring that all administrative tasks in their establishment are completed accurately and with the designated time frames.
- Managing patient records and working with the doctors to schedule appointments for patients and therapists.

- A strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- AFLAC insurance:
Available after 90 days of employment. - Health, Vision and Dental after 90 days of employment, Employer will pay 50%
- 5 paid sick days per year, 2 weeks paid vacation after 1 year of employment.
