Assist patients with personal care needs under supervision of a RN/LPN;
Assist with exercising and ambulating patients and ensure safety;
Obtain patient vital signs, input and output checks, and accu-checks; report abnormalities;
Perform procedures such as EKGs, perineal care, emptying Foley bags, and backrubs as directed;
Assist nursing and clerical staff with admitting, discharging, transferring, ambulating, transporting, and observing patients; answer unit phones effectively
