Director of Wellness and Recreation

Clearbrook is a mission driven nonprofit serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including Autism and Down Syndrome.

We are seeking a Director of Wellness and Recreation to lead engaging, inclusive programs across residential and day services.

• Lead programs that build confidence, connection, and independence.
• Oversee recreation managers.
• Expand community partnerships.
• Design wellness initiatives that promote physical health, social engagement, and meaningful community involvement.
• Your leadership will directly shape how individuals grow, connect, and participate in their communities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation Management, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• CTRS certification is required or must be obtained within a designated timeframe.
• Significant experience in special or therapeutic recreation, specifically working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

• Budget oversight.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards in social services or healthcare settings.
• Flexibility to support occasional evening and weekend programming.
