- Asset Management Specialist (Arlington Heights, IL)

We are currently seeking a full-time Asset Management Specialist to join our corporate team in Arlington Heights, IL. This on-site role is essential to the daily maintenance and execution of our equipment borrowing programs, which include demo, loaner, calibration, and specialty equipment pools. The ideal candidate will work efficiently and collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders, delivering exceptional customer service and support to all participants in these programs.

  • Hourly Rate: $26.25-$31.25 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the subject matter expert for our asset management software and the field's key contact for questions and program support.
  • Provide periodic training for current users and new employee program training.
  • Utilize asset tracking system to monitor the status, location, maintenance, and other relevant activity regarding our different equipment pools.
  • Review incoming reservations, schedule maintenance, and resolve scheduling discrepancies for field appointments. Collaborate closely with distribution, service, and operation teams to ensure seamless transition of assets from the warehouse to end-user.
  • Add, retire, update, and maintain assets in the system.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline efficiency and flow of asset management software and program processes. Assist operations with onboarding future programs.
  • Prepare regular asset usage and item calibration reports.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Software & Computers:
    Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel. Experience with Database Management Systems.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other Quality Management systems.
Travel:
  • Up to 10% of travel may be required depending on the office needs.
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
