Material Handler, Manufacturing Production, Packaging Engineer
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Picker/Packer/Repacker I to join their team. As a Picker/Packer/Repacker I, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the packing and repacking processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Picker/Packer/Repacker I
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Pay Range: $16.5
Shift: 1st / Day
What's the Job?
- Bubble wrap glass and repack miscellaneous items to ensure safe transportation
- Palletize boxes and prepare products for shipment
- Measure, weigh, and count products and materials accurately
- Inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specifications
- Seal containers using appropriate fasteners and hand tools
What's Needed?
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a dry environment
- Steel or composite toe boots required from day one
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
- Basic reading, writing, and understanding of English
- Good physical stamina and conditioning
