PositionSummary
The Production Associate supports material planning, vendor coordination, and production readiness for our manufacturing operations. This role ensures that materials, schedules, and documentation are aligned to meet customer demand efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate materials required for production, considering cost, lead time, and inventory levels.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers; evaluate quality, delivery, and pricing performance.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production to manage material transitions and minimize obsolescence.
- Process orders, track delivery status, and resolve discrepancies with suppliers or internal teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in production scheduling and inventory management.
- Collaborate across teams including engineering, logistics, and program management to ensure smooth production flow.
- 2–4 years of related industry experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or material management.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
