Tool Maker​/Precision Grinder

Dynomax Inc., a precision manufacturer serving aerospace, defense, and industrial markets, is seeking a Tool Maker / Precision Grinder. In this role, you'll build, repair, and maintain precision tools, fixtures, and molds while operating surface, cylindrical, and form grinders to tight tolerances. You'll read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and collaborate with engineers and CNC machinists to support complex, high-tolerance projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision grinding and toolmaking equipment to produce high-tolerance components
• Read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to meet exact specifications
• Inspect parts using micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools; document results
• Maintain, repair, and sharpen cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, and molds for production
• Collaborate with engineering and CNC teams to optimize tooling designs and manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot machining and grinding issues, adjusting setups and tooling as needed
• Follow strict quality, safety, and aerospace/defense standards and procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and keep work area organized and compliant
