Dynomax Inc., a precision manufacturing leader in aerospace, defense, and industrial markets, seeks a skilled Mold Maker. In this role, you'll build, repair, and maintain high-precision injection molds and tooling using CNC machining, grinding, polishing, and fitting. You will interpret complex blueprints and CAD models, hold tight tolerances, and ensure reliable mold performance. Work closely with engineering and molding teams in a clean, safety-focused, family-owned environment that emphasizes quality, training, and continuous improvement, with room for advancement and long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain precision tooling and mold-making equipment for injection molding and aerospace/defense components
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, CAD models, and engineering specifications to build and repair molds to tight tolerances
- Perform CNC machining, grinding, polishing, fitting, and assembly of new and existing molds and tooling
- Troubleshoot mold performance issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions and improvements
- Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering, machining, and molding teams to optimize mold designs for manufacturability and performance
- Maintain accurate documentation, job travelers, and revision records for mold builds and repairs
- Support continuous improvement, 5
- S, and safety initiatives in a high-tech manufacturing environment
