Locum CRNA; Nurse Anesthetist Anesthesiology

This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our dedicated medical practice, providing top-notch anesthetic care to patients in a collaborative healthcare environment.

As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in our anesthesiology team, delivering high-quality anesthesia services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This position involves working closely with surgeons and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.

• Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels accordingly
• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop anesthesia care plans
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
• Provide preoperative assessments and postoperative care
• Educate patients and families about anesthesia procedures and risks
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in continuous education and training initiatives

• Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Associate degree in nursing or related field
• Experience in anesthesiology preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
• Knowledge of anesthesia equipment and monitoring devices
• Current CPR and ACLS certifications are a plus

Schedule:

8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available

No call shifts

28 anesthetizing sites

Cases:
General, OB, pediatrics, GI, endo, cath lab, neuro, and thoracic

Care Team Model: 1:3 or 1:4 supervision
