Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 (determined by expertise, experience, and other factors)

Position Highlights

    Registered Nurse - Medical Observation Unit - Nights
  • Location:

    Northwest Community Hospital – Arlington Heights, IL
  • Per Diem Level I – must work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, with 24 of those hours on weekends if needed
  • Hours:

    7:00 pm – 7:30 am
  • Required Travel:
    No
What you will do
  • Provide patient assessment and collection of health data involving patients, families, and other health‑care providers
  • Coordinate patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely, and appropriate
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone, and in writing
  • Individualize patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet specific learning needs
  • Participate in evaluating the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws, and regulations
What you will need
  • Successful completion of an Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
