* What you will do:

*** Lead and oversee Emergency Department operations, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and clinical functions.
* Manage daily department operations and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
* Recruit, hire, coach, evaluate, discipline, and, when necessary, terminate staff.
* Oversee staff onboarding, education, and professional development.
* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, patient-centered care.
* Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on patient safety, care quality, and continuous improvement.
* Provide leadership support for related clinical units in the absence of another Clinical Manager.

* What you will need:

* Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN required, MSN preferred.
* Current Illinois Registered Nursing license.
* Certification:
Current BLS/CPR certification from the Americal Heart Association.
* Specialty certification:  ECRN and TNS preferred, or commitment to obtain within two years of hire.  CEN preferred.

* Experience:

Minimum of three years management experience.
