Position: Registered Nurse
- Intermediate Care Unit
- Nights
- Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Coordinate and implement patient care plans ensuring interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues in person, on the phone, and in writing.
- Provide individualized patient and family education based on assessments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice quality and effectiveness.
- Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
- Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current nursing license in Illinois.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Must work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, including 24 hours on weekends, during night shifts (7:00 pm - 7:30 am).
- Participate in initial nursing orientation and rotating holiday schedule.
