As a Full-Time Seafood Clerk at Brookhaven Market, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities include assisting customers with meat/seafood product selection and offering tailored recommendations based on their preferences. You will cut, trim, and package meat/seafood products to meet specific customer requests while ensuring the department remains clean, organized, and well-stocked. Maintaining proper inventory levels is essential, and you'll assist with ordering and rotating stock to ensure freshness.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Prior experience in a meat/seafood department or food service is preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific procedures.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling of meat products.
• Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
