Overview

Goodwill Greater Milwaukee and Chicago is hiring to support the Goodwill mission. Roles include Production, Donation Attendant, Sales Floor Associate, and Cashier. The organization emphasizes growth, cross-training, and serving the community.

• Production: price donations according to guidelines to maximize funds for the mission; maintain an efficient donation flow and support a smooth customer experience on the sales floor.
• Donation Attendant: greet donors, accept donations, sort donations, and deliver excellent customer service to donors and team members.
• Sales Floor Associates: organize the sales floor, assist customers, and act as ambassadors by delivering outstanding customer service and helping customers find items.
• Cashier: process transactions accurately and communicate how purchases support employment for others; uphold customer service excellence.

• One year of customer service, retail, or production experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, and reach for the duration of shift while maintaining a customer service mindset.
• Donation Attendants must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds and maintain service standards when interacting with donors.

When determining placement within the salary range, Goodwill considers education, experience, internal equity, market demands, and other criteria. It is not typical to be hired at the top of the range, and compensation decisions depend on facts and circumstances.

Certain roles may participate in an incentive plan; participation does not guarantee incentive payment and is subject to plan terms and conditions.
