What You’ll HandleBrookhaven Market is hiring a full-time Seafood Clerk (onsite) in Arlington Heights, IL, paying $16–$19/hour. This role exists to keep our seafood counter running smoothly—so customers leave with the right cut, the right portion, and a smile.
Key responsibilities include:- Help customers choose meat/seafood items and share simple, spot‑on recommendations
- Cut, trim, wrap, and package products to customer specs
- Keep the case clean, organized, stocked, and clearly labeled/priced
- Support inventory basics: rotate product for freshness and assist with ordering
- Follow food safety and sanitation rules to protect quality and guests
- Meat/Seafood or food service experience preferred (not required)
- Strong attention to detail; comfortable following procedures
- Able to stand/walk during shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
- Friendly communication; can work solo and with a team
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
