Imaging Service Engineer

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Imaging Service Engineer 2 at Northwest Community Health located in Arlington Heights, IL
. The Imaging Service Engineer will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintenance for advanced medical imaging equipment. The selected candidate will have experience with MRI/CT, SPECT, and Nuclear Medicine machines.

• Repair, maintain and calibrate medical imaging devices.
• Make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Document all service activities in accordance with company standards.

• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Specific experience with the following medical devices or equipment:
  DiCom, Siemens, Toshiba, Philips, GE Healthcare, XRay, Ultrasound, C-Arm, Cat Scan, MRI/CT, Radiation Therapy, Nuclear Medicine, Wet or Dry Processor, General RF, Clinical Asset Management, Accelerators.
• Solution-oriented approach with excellent communication, customer service and time management skills.
• Scheduling flexibility to work a rotating on-call schedule.

Minimum Education Requirement – Associate’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing, maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.

Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training.
