Electro-Mechanical Technician

The Mechatronics Technician is responsible for on‑site support, maintenance, refurbishment, and installation of electromechanical equipment at customer locations. They inspect existing equipment, provide status reports, recommend action plans, and refurbish or repair machinery as needed. Salary Range: $60k-$70k.

• Approach all tasks and situations with a Safety First mindset
• Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision
• Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components
• Perform electrical and mechanical inspections and generate reports based on findings and manufacturer requirements

• Required:
  
  High school diploma with 1-2 years experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role
• Preferred:
  Associates degree in industrial technology or related field with 2-4 years experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role
• Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment strongly preferred

• Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC and 24V controls)
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• General knowledge with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears)
• Familiarity with control technology (PLC/controls/inverters)
• Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring
• Comfort working with wide assortment of computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite, proprietary system monitoring programs, etc.)
• Ability to work in team environment as well as alone

• Must be able to work all shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Travel up to 90%

• Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing
• Working at heights of up to 80-100 feet wearing fall‑arrest gear and other PPE
• Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Working in ambient, fresh (34°F), and frozen (-15°F) conditions
