Position: Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Arlington Heights, Illinois

Overview

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the  school year, serving a K-12 caseload in a vibrant educational setting located in Arlington Heights, IL. This contract position offers a rewarding experience for SLPs dedicated to supporting student communication development across a broad age range.

Responsibilities
  • Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulations and policies
Qualifications and Experience
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Illinois state license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with an educator endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in pediatric and school settings is desirable, including Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

This position is based in Arlington Heights, IL, serving a K-12 school community.
