A school district in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join their early childhood assessment team for the upcoming school year. This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with young children and support their developmental and social-emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and screenings for early childhood students
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop intervention plans
  • Provide counseling and support services to students and families
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement of student services
Qualifications and Experience
  • Valid Social Worker (SW) endorsement
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) specific to Social Work
  • Experience working within schools or healthcare settings preferred
  • Strong communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Location:

Arlington Heights, IL

This position follows a full-time schedule from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing consistent hours aligned with the school calendar. It is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Social Worker to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment.
