Family Resource Specialist

Sinnissippi Centers is looking for a Family Resource Specialist for our Family Advocacy Center (FAC) in Henry or Bureau counties. This child and adolescent focused position include coordinating services for families involved in the FAC who need additional support in the areas of resources and parent education. The Family Resource Specialist educates families about community resources, connects them to mental health services and teaches parenting skills to help support their families' needs.

• Provide individual services to assigned clients.
• Observe and assess in-home family functioning.
• Assist families in establishing a safe home environment.
• Be responsible for all related paperwork, record keeping and compliance with all regulations.
• Coordinate care to meet the needs of the child and family.

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field.
• Experience working with children or families in the mental health field.
• Organization and attention to detail.
• Experience with child welfare is a plus.
