Job Overview and ResponsibilitiesThe Developer plays a key role in aligning business needs with technology delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist in design, development, and modification of software applications and systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide support to software development leads (e.g., Senior Developer).
- Work on moderate to complex projects.
- Apply security coding best practices throughout the development cycle.
- Contribute to software documentation and user manuals.
- Complete comprehensive unit testing on all developed or enhanced software and support deployment of applications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code adheres to standards.
- Support and troubleshoot software systems, optimizing performance, resolving issues, and following up on all problems and solutions.
- Stay up‑to‑date on the latest industry trends and technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of related experience or successful completion of United DT Early Career Digital Leadership Program (ECDLP).
- Proficiency in a coding language and building back‑end components.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of SDLC processes, best practices, and development methodologies.
- Knowledge of application design, design patterns, and relevant technologies.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
- Reliable, punctual attendance.
- Experience with cloud technologies (ideally AWS).
- Java or Python programming.
- Exposure to App Dynamics and Dynatrace.
- Agile methodologies.
- SQL, Oracle, and relational database experience.
- Code repositories such as TFS.
- Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel).
- Chef/Ansible and configuration management tools.
- Dev Ops experience.
- Infrastructure knowledge.
- Windows Server 2012.
- UI analytics (Google Analytics).
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
- Mobile technologies.
- Exposure to Couchbase No
SQL DB.
Base pay range: $89,965.00 to $. Compensation may also include bonus and/or long‑term incentive awards.
