Position SummaryThe Shipping Freight Coordinator supports daily shipping activities by preparing freight documents, coordinating pickups, and helping maintain accurate inventory.
Responsibilities- Prepare bills of lading, manifests, air bills, and other shipping documents.
- Process and enter shipping orders using shipping software and computer systems.
- Print shipping reports and respond to shipment questions.
- Verify materials, quantities, labels, packing slips, and special shipping instructions.
- Assist with moving materials to the dock or small-package area using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Help with packing, stockroom tasks, and cycle counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
- Perform other related warehouse and shipping duties as needed.
Shift hours:
Monday
- Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution preferred.
- Basic computer and data-entry skills;
Microsoft Office experience preferred. - Ability to use shipping software, scanners, and record-management systems.
- Good communication, organization, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Basic math and inventory-counting skills.
- Ability to safely operate or be trained to operate forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Ability to lift 25-60 pounds and work in an active warehouse environment.

Hourly pay rate for this role is $18.00.
