Position Overview
Maintenance Supervisor
Location & HoursArlington, TN. 100% Onsite. Monday-Friday, 2:30pm–11:00pm (may work varied shifts including weekends).
Responsibilities- Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of the company’s equipment, building(s), and grounds to minimize interruptions to operations.
- Plan, direct, and implement safety programs and policies in compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Manage daily operations of the Maintenance Department, ensuring organizational and departmental goals are met.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Supervise maintenance staff, including security personnel; oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and performance appraisals.
- Perform preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary expenses and downtime.
- Oversee installation, repair, and maintenance of building systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
- Monitor use and inventory of spare parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Manage budget lines and capital expenditures.
- Consult with vendors and security services to ensure satisfactory service levels and fair pricing.
- Recommend process improvements and address performance issues.
- Plan, write, and implement safety policies and training programs for managers and employees on safety practices, fire prevention, and chemical handling.
- Inspect facilities for hazards, lead investigations of accidents and injuries, maintain safety files and records.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of maintenance supervisory experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform prolonged standing/walking in a maintenance environment.
- Must be able to work 40hours per week, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed.
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
- Prior supervisory or management experience leading maintenance teams.
- Experience developing and implementing workplace safety programs.
