Hours

Monday‑Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm (ability to work overtime as needed)

What you will be doing

Ensures safe maintenance, repairs, and replacement of plant equipment and systems. Ensures maximum productivity and quality in accordance with safety, health, and fire regulations.

  • Maintains and repairs all equipment, buildings, and facilities.

  • Troubleshoots all machinery and conveyor systems.

  • Uses Pick2

    Light systems to analyze computer system errors, enabling maintenance to make repairs and reset faults as needed.

  • Establishes and coordinates priority work projects and repairs.

  • Provides directions, assigns tasks, and reports to the supervisor.

  • Prepares reports, monitors maintenance schedules, and monitors employee time records.

  • Reviews Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders and logs them into Benchmark.

  • Maintains parts inventory.

  • Prepares schedules, oversees work activities, and performs hands‑on tasks alongside team members, without conducting performance appraisals, counsel employees, or having the authority to hire, fire, set pay rates.

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills. Intermediate management skills.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office application skills.

  • Proficient in WCS, DMS, BHS, conveyor PM and MHE Systems.

  • Office knowledge in Filing, Telephone System, Data Entry, Document Control, Faxing, Copying.

  • Software knowledge in Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows.

  • Specialized area in auditing.

  • Assembly knowledge in manual assembly, inspection, documentation, visual inspection, chemical, degreaser, flammables, paints.

  • Maintenance knowledge in painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding, remodeling, mechanical, repairing, and construction.

  • Warehouse knowledge in Crown Double Reach, Crown Order Picker, Crown Dock Stacker, Raymond Dock Stocker, Raymond Pallet Runner, Raymond Order Picker, Raymond Reach, Swing Reach, and Sweeper‑Propane.

  • Forklift knowledge in sit‑down, stand‑up, high‑low forklift, and electric forklift.

  • Pallet jack knowledge in manual pallet jack, electric, inventory, and pallet rider.

  • Engineering/Technical knowledge in gauge control, calipers, and micrometers.

  • Schematics knowledge in lathe, grinding, soldering, and multimeter.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.

  • 2+ years related experience in specialized or technical training.

  • 5+ years’ experience in a maintenance environment.

  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.

  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PLC Experience.
