Maintenance Technician II
Department:
Facilities

Work Location:

Arlington, TN – 100% onsite

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm (overtime as needed)

Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe maintenance, repairs, and replacement of plant equipment and systems
  • Ensure maximum productivity and quality in accordance with safety, health, and fire regulations
  • Maintain and repair all equipment, buildings, and facilities
  • Troubleshoot all machinery and conveyor systems
  • Use Pick2

    Light systems to analyze computer system errors, perform repairs, and reset faults as needed
  • Establish and coordinate priority work projects and repairs
  • Provide directions, assign tasks, and manage minor work of other personnel; report to the supervisor
  • Prepare reports, monitor maintenance schedules, and track employee time records
  • Review Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders and log them into Benchmark
  • Maintain parts inventory
  • Prepare schedules, oversee work activities, and perform hands‑on tasks alongside team members (does not include performance appraisals, counseling, hiring, firing, or setting pay rates)
Skills & Experience
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Intermediate management, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent project management and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Windows
  • Proficient in WCS, DMS, BHS, conveyor PM and MHE Systems
  • Office knowledge in filing, telephone system, data entry, document control, faxing, and copying
  • Software knowledge in Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows
  • Specialized knowledge in auditing, manual assembly, inspection, documentation, visual inspection, chemical handling, degreaser, flammables, and paints
  • Maintenance knowledge in painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, welding, remodeling, mechanical repair, and construction
  • Warehouse knowledge (Crown double‑reach, Crown order picker, Crown dock stacker, Raymond dock stocker, Raymond pallet runner, Raymond order picker, Raymond reach, swing reach, sweeper‑propane)
  • Forklift knowledge (sit‑down, stand‑up, high‑low, forklift‑electric)
  • Pallet jack knowledge (manual, electric, inventory, pallet rider)
  • Engineering/technical knowledge (gage control, calipers, micrometers)
  • Schematics knowledge (lathe, grinding, soldering, multimeter)
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
  • 2+ years related specialized or technical training experience
  • 5+ years experience in a maintenance environment
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed
