Position:
Maintenance Technician III Department:
Facilities

Work Location:

Arlington, TN, 100% Onsite

Hours:

Monday – Friday, 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM (ability to work overtime as needed)

What you will be doing
  • You will ensure safe maintenance, repairs, and replacement of plant equipment and systems.
  • You will be responsible for maximum productivity and quality in accordance with safety, health, and fire regulations.
  • Maintains and repairs all equipment, buildings, and facilities.
  • Troubleshoots all machinery and conveyor systems.
  • Uses Pick2

    Light systems, which analyzes computer system errors enabling maintenance to make repairs, reset faults, etc., as needed.
  • Establishes and coordinates priority work projects and repairs.
  • Provides directions, assigns tasks and minor work of other personnel, and reports to the supervisor.
  • Prepares reports, monitors maintenance schedules, and monitors employee time records.
  • Reviews Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders and logs them into Benchmark.
  • Maintains parts inventory.
  • Prepares schedules, oversees work activities, performance appraisals, counsel employees, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
  • 2+ years related experience in specialized or technical training.
  • 5+ years' experience in Maintenance environment.
  • Ability to work well with others adhering to company values.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in industrial environments for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and from elevated work platforms when required.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as necessary.
  • Ability to stock and organize products safely and accordingly, as some items are fragile.
  • Ability to review and process shipping documents.
  • Supports process and logistics improvement initiatives.
  • Follows established safety guidelines and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) systems.
