The YMCA facility housekeeping technician will keep assigned areas clean and clear for all YMCA participants, perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping and mopping, assist in set‑up for meetings and special events, monitor and maintain cleaning in storage rooms, offices, kitchen, and bathrooms, assist with laundry functions as needed, and respond to accidents, spills, and other housekeeping emergencies.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of performance.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment (vacuums, buffers, etc.).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemical capabilities, mixing proportions, and use.
• Knowledge in maintenance and care of finished surfaces.
