Six Mile, LLC (SML) is seeking three (3) Maintenance Technicians to provide operation and maintenance services including repairs for the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, VA! This position will play a vital role in repairing and keeping the physical structure and establishment safe, functional, and well-maintained.

• Perform operations and maintenance, preventative maintenance, service calls, and repairs (minor and major) for all equipment, systems, facilities, and grounds.
• Maintain memorial cleanliness and orderliness are well within the abilities of the typical technician.
• Keeping the park free of litter, raking the gravel areas to ensure smoothness and desired thickness, removal of gravel from unit pools, polishing metal surfaces, cleaning stone faces, cleaning pavers and assuring the pools remain clean and clear.
• Maintaining an "Exceptional Appearance" condition of the memorial.
• Inspects the building, grounds, and equipment.
• Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Compliance with all company safety regulations.
• Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
• Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.
• Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least one (1) year of maintenance experience is required.
• Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
• Communicates effectively.
• Collaborates with maintenance technicians, project managers, and contractors.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Required to obtain a Temporary Department of Defense (DoD) Building Pass/Access Card.
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening.
