Furniture Assembly Experts LLC provides assembly service for furniture to customers living in Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia. We specialize in Ready-To-Assemble new furniture, office equipment, home furniture, patio furniture, fitness equipment, sporting goods and much more.

Furniture Assembly Experts is the first choice for affordable, friendly and professional furniture installation and assembly services in the region. Our goal is to help customers set up and assemble their home or office furniture so they can enjoy the purchase as soon as possible.

We offer a 30-day warranty on all assembly jobs and strive for hassle-free service to save customers time and frustration.

Position:
Full-time (part-time also available). Pay: $12-$15 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble new furniture, office equipment, home furniture, patio furniture, fitness equipment, sporting goods and other items.
  • Use power tools including cordless drill, corded drill, hammer, and screwdriver.
  • Transport and move furniture to customer locations throughout Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia.
  • Work Monday through Sunday, including overtime, evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Provide 30-day warranty support and solve on-site problems.
Qualifications
  • Reliable car and valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in installation and assembly of furniture, including IKEA.
  • Ability to lift and move items up to 100 lbs.
  • Advanced experience using power tools.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel for long periods of time.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Self-motivation, initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive job-time management and prioritization.
  • Supervisory skills a plus.
  • Professional appearance and good personality.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the USA.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Be on knees, bend, kneel, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Carry and transport heavy equipment with or without team members.
  • Lift items up to 100 lbs and work safely.
