Canon Rental is a small business in Cañon City, CO. We are professional, agile and our goal is to become the premier one-stop destination for event hosts seeking unparalleled convenience, reliability, and excellence in party equipment rentals, ensuring every celebration is a memorable success.

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner/Event Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards at the designated facilities. The candidate will also be responsible for preparing, cleaning and sanitizing event rental items for customer events. Other duties as required.

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
• Inspect and prepare a variety of event equipment, including decorations, food machines, sound systems, audiovisual gear, lighting fixtures, etc. ensuring they are in optimal condition for rental.
• Clean, sanitize, and polish equipment to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Closely inspect returned event items for damage and cleanliness including tablecloth linens, napkins, glasses, silverware, etc.
• Wash, dry, iron, and fold linen tablecloths and napkins
• Test equipment functionality and troubleshoot any issues to ensure proper operation during events.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate equipment for their events, providing recommendations and guidance based on their needs and preferences.
• Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to disposal areas
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed
• Handle commercial cleaning duties efficiently
• Ensure facilities are clean and well-maintained

• Experience in cleaning and facilities maintenance is preferred, but not required
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks effectively
• Familiarity with custodial responsibilities
• Experience in commercial cleaning is a plus
