The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the shift maintenance personnel and ensuring all maintenance work and scheduled PMs are completed in a timely fashion, under the direction of the Maintenance Manager. Maintenance activities must ensure that employee health and safety, product safety, and the protection of the environment are never compromised, and that all maintenance activities enhance product quality, plant performance, and the business objectives.

• Lead a team of mechanics in carrying out preventive/corrective maintenance inspections during production shifts and non‑production days to ensure equipment availability.
• Champion the site safety objectives through leadership and effective communications. Assist Site Leadership and Safety Management Representative in the implementation of safety‑related projects, upgrades, or improvements. Ensure there exists within the maintenance team an attitude of absolute intolerance for unsafe situations.
• Assist the work group to implement and monitor an effective PM program and monitor the program on existing equipment and new equipment acquisitions. Ensure that work orders and work assignments are completed in a timely fashion by the maintenance department.
• Oversee the operation and tracking of the parts room and maintain the required inventory of spare parts. Maintain a record of equipment repair costs.
• Maintain good human relations skills, communication skills, and leadership qualities with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
• Direct, coordinate, and manage scheduled maintenance and machine changeovers in conjunction with scheduled production.
