JobPurpose
The Equipment Technician performs preventative maintenance and repairs on emission testing equipment, manages parts inventory, and ensures accurate documentation. This role provides essential support to station management and requires a proactive approach to operational excellence under the direction of the Systems Support Manager.
Work HoursThis is a full‑time position; standard hours are 40 hours weekly.
- Nighttime Technician
Schedule:
Monday thru Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to Emission Testing Equipment.
- Participate in company‑provided training for the following equipment:
- Computers
- Peripherals
- Printers
- Gas Analyzers
- Dynamo meters
- RPM Units
- OBD Units
- Bar Code Readers
- Pneumatics
- Perform parts inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
- Complete necessary paperwork and record all maintenance and repair activity.
- Provide station management with phone consultation regarding immediate equipment issues when not yet on‑site.
- Other duties as assigned by management team.
