Responsible for the overall leadership and operation of the resort’s Maintenance, Landscaping, and Fleet departments
, ensuring the property, equipment, grounds, and operational systems are maintained to established safety, quality, and guest experience standards. Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, building systems, equipment, and resort assets to maximize reliability, minimize service disruptions, and protect the long-term condition of the property.

Lead, train, schedule, and develop Maintenance, Landscaping, and Fleet team members while managing departmental expenses, outside contractors, repairs, and operational projects. Proactively identify property needs, prioritize repairs and improvements based on guest impact, safety, operational risk, and financial impact
, and communicate recommendations to resort leadership. Support capital projects and other property initiatives as assigned.

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the Maintenance, Landscaping, and Fleet departments
  , ensuring resort assets, grounds, equipment, and facilities are maintained to established standards.
• Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, building systems, equipment, and other resort assets.
• Establish preventive maintenance schedules, monitor completion, document deficiencies, and ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
• Conduct routine property inspections to proactively identify maintenance, safety, presentation, and operational concerns before they impact the guest experience or resort operations.
• Prioritize repairs and projects based on safety, guest impact, operational risk, asset protection, and financial impact

• Coordinate and oversee repairs, maintenance, and installation associated with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, mechanical systems, carpentry, and other building systems.
• Oversee the maintenance and appearance of resort grounds, including landscaping, trees and shrubs, irrigation systems, ponds, water features, roadways, and exterior areas.
• Oversee the resort fleet, including preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, documentation, and vehicle condition.
• Maintain appropriate inventories of critical parts, tools, equipment, and supplies necessary to support resort operations.

• Recruit, train, supervise, schedule, and develop Maintenance, Landscaping, and Fleet team members.
• Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable for productivity, quality, safety, and completion of assigned work.
• Conduct department orientation and job-specific training for new hires and provide ongoing technical, safety, and service training for existing team members.
• Prepare and adjust schedules based on business levels, operational priorities, projects, and labor forecasts.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and administer performance management in accordance with resort policies and Human Resources practices.
